Safe Trading and Anti-Fraud

Buyers
Ask for a written quotation (proforma invoice) with the seller's legal name, GSTIN and address, and check them. For a first order, consider a smaller order or a trusted payment method. Pay only to the bank account in the seller's name shown on the invoice. If you receive an email or message changing the bank details, call the seller on a number you already know before paying: this is the most common fraud in international trade.
Sellers
Be careful with buyers who overpay and ask for a refund of the difference, who ask you to ship before payment clears, or who ask you to use a particular freight agent you do not know.
SparesYard will never
Ask you for passwords or one-time codes; ask you to pay SparesYard staff personally; or ask you to pay a seller's invoice into an account in a different name. Report suspicious messages to us immediately.
Badges and tiers
A "Verified" badge means SparesYard has checked the seller's business documents at the time of approval; it is not a guarantee of products or performance. Tier labels (such as Diamond, Gold and Silver) reflect the seller's arrangement with SparesYard, not a rating by buyers.
